Roaring Mouse achieves hallmark of PR excellence

30 October 2020

Roaring Mouse Public Relations, a PR agency for early-stage technology businesses, today announced that it has achieved the PRCA’s Communications Management Standard (CMS), the gold standard for public relations agencies from the world’s largest and most influential PR professional body.

Described by the PRCA as ‘the hallmark of PR excellence’, CMS is an internationally recognised accreditation combining elements of ISO9001 and Investors in People with criteria specific to a PR and communications consultancy. Roaring Mouse was awarded CMS following a comprehensive audit of its operations in October 2020.

Carol Magill, Audit Assessor at the PRCA, comments: “Congratulations to Roaring Mouse Public Relations for achieving CMS for the first time. The agency demonstrated strong evidence on meeting the needs of clients, a focus on metrics, transparency around spend and a return on investment. This is also an agency with an ethical focus and seeks out clients who ‘make the world smarter, fairer and more sustainable.’”

James Taylor, Roaring Mouse’s founder and Managing Director, comments: “Fewer than 100 PR agencies in the UK have CMS, so this puts us right up there with the best in our business. The accreditation demonstrates to our people that we are committed to their development, and shows clients they are buying a professional service from a company that is committed to excellence.”
